International bar and restaurant chain HYDE Kitchen + Cocktails will feature at Accor’s The Adnate hotel when it opens in October.
The first HYDE venue in Australia opened earlier this year in the Gold Coast at an Accor Hotel, and it operates in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Miami.
HYDE is owned by Sbe, a global hospitality company based in Los Angeles that operates 20 hotels, 70 restaurants and 42 lounges.
HYDE Perth Kitchen + Cocktails will have an outdoor pool, sun loungers and DJ decks, and span across 550 square metres of indoor and outdoor space.
Accor said the venue will pay homage to the site's previous tenant, Musgrove Music, and also draw inspiration from the jazz age of the 1920s and 1930s.
The Adnate is part of Accor’s Art Series hotel chain.
Accor Pacific chief operating officer Simon McGrath said the planned Perth venue was on the back of the success of its Gold Coast site.
“It won’t be like anything else in Perth and is destined to become a favourite for Perth locals, due to its unique offering and central Hay Street location, as well as domestic and international visitors to the city,” hesaid.
Sbe chief executive Sam Nazarian said the company was extremely excited to grow the HYDE brand in Australia.
“This second opening is part of our international strategy to expand our hotel, residential, culinary and entertainment brands across the globe in collaboration with Accor,” he said.
