Perth-based employment services firm Downing Teal will merge with Beilby Recruitment after being acquired by CGH Group, which also plans to merge the DT Workforce business in WA with its CoreStaff subsidiary.
Northern Territory-based CGH operates five businesses, including CoreStaff and Beilby Recruitment.
It has struck an agreement to acquire Downing Teal (and DT Workforce), with effect from April 1.
The merged Downing Teal and Beilby business will be known as Beilby Downing Teal and will employ 50 staff across seven offices, with a focus on executive search, professional recruitment and contracting service
CoreStaff has 30 consultants, with offices in Perth, Kalgoorlie and Port Hedland.
CGH's OPRA Psychology Group has an office in Subiaco.
CGH Group's has two other brands, Goal Indigenous Services and Vmac Employment Solutions, which have little-to-no presence in WA.
Downing Teal, founded in 1966, is headquartered in Perth with domestic offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Gladstone. It also has offices in Brazil, Chile and Peru.
Managing director John Downing said he was excited by this new opportunity.
“It will provide significant career opportunities for our exceptional team and extended services to our loyal clients through the additional CGH brands and new regional reach,” he said.
Mr Downing has been with Downing Teal since 1971, and will join CGH Group in an unspecified new senior executive role.
