Local contractor MACA has locked in a $27.5 million contract for crushing and screening services at BHP Billiton’s Area C mine in the Pilbara.

Local contractor MACA has locked in a $27.5 million contract for crushing and screening services at BHP Billiton’s Area C mine in the Pilbara.
Local contractor MACA has locked in a $27.5 million contract for crushing and screening services at BHP Billiton’s Area C mine in the Pilbara.
Under the contract, Maca will undertake crushing and screening of lump and fines, with work expected to commence in October.
The contract has an initial three-year term with an option to extend.
Maca will use new and existing crushing equipment.
Managing director Chris Tuckwell said it was pleasing to secure the new contract.
“Maca would like to thank BHP for the opportunity to work with them,” he said

Shares in Maca were up .16 per cent at $1.26 each at 315pm AEDT.
