announced the appointment of non-executive directors today.
Tiansha has appointed ex-LionOre Mining managing director Mark Ashley as non-executive director of the company.
Mr Ashley's appointment to the board of Tianshan is unrelated to his recently announced plans to establish a new Australian mining venture.
Mr Ashley announcede his resignation as managing director of LionOre Australia and director of LionOre Mining International Ltd, in January.
At the time, Mr Ashley said he was assessing a number of opportunities in the corporate resources arena, particularly in the mid-tier sector where there is likely to be a continued and significant level of activity.
Meanwhile, Julian Hanna has agreed to join Fox Resources as a non-executive director effective today.
Mr Hanna is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Western Areas NL, a role in which he will continue.

APPOINTMENT OF MARK ASHLEY AS NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Board of Tianshan Goldfields Limited ("Tianshan" or "the Company") is delighted to announce the appointment of experienced international mining executive, Mr Mark Ashley, as a Non Executive Director of the Company.
Mr Ashley joined LionOre Mining International Limited in 1997, following the friendly merger with Forrestania Gold where he was Finance Director. Until his recent retirement on 31 March 2006, Mr Ashley was the Managing Director of LionOre Australia from February 2001, and a member of the LionOre Mining International Limited board from May 2005.
A management accountant with over 20 years experience in the resource industry, Mr Ashley is also a Non Executive Director of ASX listed base metals producer Kagara Zinc Ltd, and a Director of the Australian Gold Council. His proven ability in the management of resource companies makes him a valuable addition to the Company.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Ashley said, "I am very pleased to accept this opportunity to join the Board of Tianshan as a Non Executive Director, and I look forward to making a positive contribution to the overall strategic direction of the Company in the advancement of its gold interests in China."

Further to Mr Ashley's appointment, the Company is pleased to announce that Mr Ashley is participating in the placement of shares announced on 27 March 2006. Mr Ashley and/or his nominees have applied for 1,000,000 ordinary shares at $0.25. As a result of Mr Ashley's appointment, it is proposed to issue him with 500,000 D Class options which may be exercised at $0.40 and terminate on 30 June 2008. The issue of these options and the shares placed to Mr Ashley will be subject to shareholder approval.
NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR APPOINTED:
Fox Resources Limited (ASX Code: FXR) is delighted to advise that Mr. Julian Hanna has agreed to join the Company as a non-executive director effective today.
Mr. Hanna is a professional geologist with over 30 years experience in gold and base metal exploration and mine development. He has been involved in the discovery and development of several gold and base metals deposits, most notably the Flying Fox nickel discovery at Forrestania in Western Australia.
Mr. Hanna is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Western Areas NL, a role in which he will continue. Mr. Hanna has been at the helm of Western Areas for 6 years and has played an instrumental role in successfully listing
Western Areas on the Toronto Stock Exchange and through new discoveries growing the company to its current market capitalisation of A$300 million. The Board of Fox welcomes Julian Hanna and is looking forward to his future
