Grill’d Healthy Burgers is set to open in Fremantle in August, after signing a lease at 17 South Terrace.
The burger joint’s lease was brokered by Burgess Rawson’s Jack Bennett, while commercial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The property was previously tenanted by The Merchant cafe, but has been vacant while refurbishment works were completed.
Mr Bennett said an expressions of interest campaign which ran over five weeks attracted a large amount of enquiry.
“The introduction of Grill’d onto the Fremantle cappuccino strip will be an excellent addition to the area, giving residents and visitors to Fremantle another quality food and beverage option,” he said.
“Grill’d is expected to open its doors for trade in late August.”
The Fremantle Grill’d will take the burger chain’s number of outlets in Western Australia to 14, while it also operates 14 in Queensland, 11 in New South Wales, 16 in Victoria and one in South Australia.
