Alicanto Minerals has become the fifth Perth listing on the Australian Securities Exchange this financial year.
Led by non-executive chairman Didier Murcia, the gold and base metals explorer raised $2.4 million from its initial public offering, at an issue price of 20 cents.
The company holds a portfolio of three projects in Western Australia; the Yerella gold-copper-zinc prospect in the northern Goldfields; the Meekatharra gold and copper-zinc project; and the Doolgunna gold and copper gold project, in the Kimberley.
The company's stock had a successful debut, gaining 1 cent to finish the day at 21 cents.
