AUSTRALIA’S leading film industry news and jobs website, ScreenHub, has been bought by arts and entertainment industry news and jobs portal, artsHub.
ScreenHub will join the artsHub team in August, and will continue working as ScreenHub under the artsHub Holdings umbrella.
artsHub chair and ex-CEO of realestate.com.au Simon Baker was behind the move and believes it is a logical progression for the two entities.
ScreenHub is the go-to site for screen industry news, jobs and opportunities, just as artsHub has been for the arts for many years.
The new entity aims to increase coordination and improved delivery of products and services, leading to more jobs, more news, more opportunities for anyone working in the arts or film.
“This deal brings together the leaders in the arts and screen industries to provide all Australian’s with access to high quality industry news, reviews, and jobs,” Mr Baker said.
artsHub chief executive Andrew Murray said combining the services offered by Screen Hub and artsHub would deliver enormous benefits to the Australian arts and film communities.
