Broad Construction has won a $22 million roadworks deal at Riverside.
The state government has awarded a $22 million contract for road and infrastructure works at the Riverside project in East Perth to Broad Construction.
The scope of works includes a realignment of the existing slip lane from Hay Street to the Causeway, the construction of a new two-way road between Trinity College and the WACA, and re-opening Hale Street to private vehicles and two-way traffic.
Planning Minister John Day said the Riverside project would eventually deliver more than 4,000 new dwellings and 90,000 square meters of retail and commercial space.
“These works are a critical part of the Riverside project which will establish a cosmopolitan destination for Perth with residential and hotel accommodation, retail, commercial and recreational opportunities,” Mr Day said.
