The Real Estate Institute of Western Australia has appointed Neville Pozzi as incoming chief executive.
Mr Pozzi, who has been with the institute for thirty four years, will replace outgoing chief executive, Anne Arnold, when she steps down from the role in July after eight years.
Mrs Arnold welcomed Mr Pozzi’s appointment to the role.
“Neville will do a terrific job, he’s been with REIWA for a long time and I think it’s an excellent decision,” she said.
Mrs Arnold said she was moving onto new challenges, including several board appointments, and was proud of the progress REIWA had made during her period at the top of the organisation.
“I think REIWA is in excellent shape, we’re adaptable to change and are more professional in our engagement with the industry than ever before,” she said.
Mrs Arnold cited the growth of REIWA’s online entity, reiwa.com.au as one of her proudest achievements alongside changes to the governance structure of the institute.
REIWA President, David Airey, said Mr Pozzi was well suited to the role.
“Mr Pozzi is well qualified to take over from Mrs Arnold who leaves REIWA in excellent shape as she moves on to new career challenges”.
“Mr Pozzi is well known to REIWA members and the property industry generally so his appointment will ensure a smooth transition,” he said.
REIWA is scheduled to move into its new purpose-built premise in Subiaco’s Hay Street at around the same time Mr Pozzi is welcomed into the role.
