LOTTERYWEST has re-appointed Marketforce to look after its advertising and related communications for a period of three years with two one-year contract extension options at the discretion of Lotterywest. Under the contract, Marketforce will manage both the Lotterywest brand and all lottery product brands – including strategic planning, campaign development, advertising production and execution across a wide range of media. Lottery-west estimates its average annual net media expenditure over the next five years to be approximately $6.4 million, with annual production expenditure of approximately $3.4 million. A Lotterywest spokesman said Marketforce emerged as the strongest candidate during a tender process. Agencies were asked to demonstrate their strength against three key qualitative criteria: strategic thinking and methodology; creative ability and thinking; and skills and expertise of nominated key personnel.
