And previewing the much-anticipated wines from this year’s season will be chief winemaker Paul Boulden and executive chef Mark Ford.
Mr Boulden will discuss the current vintage and also talk of some of his experiences during 20 years in the Australian and European winemaking industries.
Those interested in attending the event will be able to compare the 2005 range to some of Sandalford’s past vintages, as a selection from the Premium and Prendiville ranges will also be featured.

Subiaco will transform into Wallaby Central on Saturday August 20 when Australia and South Africa play in a Tri Nations test match at Subiaco Oval.
Panache Café will get into the spirit of the occasion, pouring Australian wines and beers to mark to event.
But if you would like to mix wine, rugby and a little humour before that, celebrated winemaker Bruce Jack of Flagstone Wines fame will join John Eales at a Vintage Cellars Tri-Star Wine Dinner on August 19 at the Old Swan Brewery.
While the former Wallaby captain needs no introduction, Mr Jack may. He is regarded as one of South Africa’s top winemakers, and is perhaps best known for his passionate stance on South Africa’s indigenous grape variety, Pinotage.

Moss Brothers, one of the quiet achievers of WA’s wine community, has continued this state’s recent good form at international wine competitions.
At the International Wine & Spirits Competition, Moss Brothers 2004 verdelho was voted ‘best of its class’, while its 2003 shiraz shared a silver medal where no gold was awarded.
Rounding out the impressive performance, Moss Brothers’ Moses Rock shiraz cabernet blend received bronze, further recognition for a wine that came out ‘best of red blends’ in the current Winestate Magazine.

To that end, Gershwin’s Restaurant will host Western Australia’s Finest Reds Dinner on August 19, looking to show off the vibrancy and class of reds from Margaret River, Frankland Valley, the Great Southern and Pemberton Regions.
