Low-cost Telecommunications company Commoditel has recently appointed George Gelavis to its board of directors as chief executive and managing director. Mr Gelavis has over ten years experience in the mobile telecommunications industry having owned and operated mobile virtual network operator businesses in Australia and overseas. In 1999 Mr Gelavis co-founded B Digital and was an executive director when it listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2000. He was also responsible for creating and developing the B Digital business model in Australia and expanding operations overseas. Earlier this month, Commoditel announced a branded dealer service agreement with Bartercard in Australia.
