Perth miners Mark Ashley and Kim Robinson have increased their stakes in junior gold explorer Terra Gold Mining through placements.
Mark Ashley, managing director of Nickel producer Lion Ore Australia, took up 750,000 shares at eight cents per share in Terra.
Managing director of Kagara Zinc, Kim Robinson took two million shares in Terra, also at eight cents.
Mr Ashley’s purchase cost $60,000 and took his directly related share holding in Terra to 60,000, while Mr Robinson’s transaction, valued at $160,000, takes his directly related stake to two million shares.
Welshpool-based Terra recently underwent a name change from Aurex Consolidated Ltd, which listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1996.
Terra controls the Nichlosons Find gold project in the Kimberley region of WA.
