HARVEY Beef has moved to 100 per cent ownership of food service and meat supply firm Kings Choice.
It has bought out 42 per cent shareholder Sealanes as well as co-founders Rob Tomlinson and Greg Pittaway, who had a 16 per cent stake.
Chief executive Garry Minton said “ownership of Kings Choice allows us to fully utilise the Harvey Beef brand”.
“Kings Choice can now use the Harvey Beef brand on its products, clearly identifying to consumers exactly what quality of beef they are purchasing.
“In the past Harvey Beef has concentrated on bulk sales however with Kings Choice we can portion package and brand Harvey Beef goods for the food service and retail market industries.”
