Skywest

Skywest Airlines has dropped defamation action against former chief executive Bill Meeke.

Skywest said the company had been successful in "protecting its commercial interests in relation to incorrect and damaging information that had been distributed by Mr Meeke".

Mr Meeke is still pursuing action against Skywest, seeking $1.3 million in damages for alleged breach of contract as CEO.
