Politics & Business breakfast with the Hon. John Quigley MLA
In pursuit of justice
Attorney General John Quigley has left an indelible mark on the state’s legal and political landscape throughout his distinguished career. With over 25 years as a practising lawyer, Mr Quigley played a pivotal role in the 2006 exoneration of the late Andrew Mallard, a man wrongfully convicted of murder. This case solidified his reputation as a defender of justice.
Since joining state parliament in 2001 as a Labor member, Mr Quigley has been a driving force in legal reform. As shadow attorney general from 2009, and later as attorney general following his party’s resounding 2017 victory, he has spearheaded numerous legislative reforms that have shaped our legal system.
As Mr Quigley prepares to retire from politics, having announced he will not contest the 2025 State Election, this breakfast offers a unique opportunity to hear reflections from one of the state’s most influential legal minds.
Don't miss this chance to gain insights into leadership, resilience, and the power of legal reform from a career dedicated to justice and public service.
