ASX-listed Kingwest Resources has hit paydirt again at its flagship Menzies gold project about 130km north of Kalgoorlie as the company seeks to shore up confidence in the resource. The results, which include 4m at 11.04g/t gold from 47m, also hint that an upgrade to its current mineral resource estimate may soon be on the cards.

In one of WA’s hottest new gold plays, CZR Resources has made another high-grade discovery in a shallow drill hole at the Top Camp prospect at its Pilbara-based Croydon project, located 75km west-south-west of De Grey Mining’s stunning Hemi gold deposit. The latest drill hit returned a healthy 2m at 22 g/t gold from 7m, including 1m at 42.2 g/t gold.

ASX-listed gold producer, Horizon Minerals, continues to capitalise on a strong Australian-dollar gold price at its low-grade Boorara gold mine, 10km east of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, peeling off a rapid-fire $4.89 million in revenue.
