Triangle Energy Global has reeled in $9.96 million after farming out 25 per cent of its L7 production licence and EP 437 exploration permit in WA to New Zealand Oil & Gas. The deal follows a similar agreement with Talon Energy last year and allows Triangle, who still retains a 50 per cent stake in the assets, to advance exploration in the zones via the newly formed joint venture.

Assay results received by Greenland-focused Conico Limited from its 100 per cent owned Mestersvig project have confirmed the quartz veins in the Blyklippen-Sortebjerg, Holberg, and Nuldal faults all host high-grade lead, zinc and silver mineralisation. The results are from a 10-hole diamond drill campaign that targeted vein-hosted zinc-lead-copper-silver mineralisation adjacent to the Blyklippen Mine and 20 rock chip samples taken during 2022 fieldwork.

Everest Metals Corporation is looking to expand its battery and precious metals portfolio after lodging an application for two prospective tenement packages near Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. The total application area covers the Georgina and Amadeus projects that include 15 exploration licences covering an area around 10,200 square kilometres.

The final tranche of assay results from a recently completed RC drilling campaign at Surefire Resources’ Victory Bore project in WA’s Mid-West have dropped through the company’s letter box, confirming even more, massive mineralised widths of vanadium pentoxide to add to what is already an enormous resource. Surefire has also uncovered a new vanadium prospect it has called the Mystery Lode.

White Cliff Minerals has confirmed the discovery of clay-based rare earths mineralisation at its Hines Hill project in WA after tabling a suite of new results including 3m at 1602ppm from 6m via a maiden 49-hole campaign. The headline strike sat inside a larger 25m intercept running 837ppm TREO from a shallow depth of 6m and was joined by an almost equally impressive 4m parcel grading 1182ppm TREO from 45m.

After completing a successful round of lithium brine pumping tests at its Hombre West project in Argentina, Galan Lithium has confirmed the high production capabilities at its Pila and Rana del Sal concessions. The program delivered a suite of robust extraction and production chemistry data that bodes well for the company’s soon-to-be-completed definitive feasibility study which aims to evaluate production at the site.

Perth-based Buru Energy has received a shot in the arm with the granting of two additional exploration permits regarded as highly prospective for petroleum in WA’s onshore Carnarvon Basin. The permits will be licensed to a joint venture of Buru and a Mineral Resources’ subsidiary, EnRes and lie south of the Pilbara coastal town of Onslow.

Venus Metals has confirmed the presence of rare earth elements at its Marvel Loch East project with results from rock chip samples returning grades of up to 4365 parts-per-million total rare earth oxides. The company recently collected a total of 38 rock chip samples and 93 historical drill spoil samples from the operation near Southern Cross in the Goldfields region of WA with one spoil sample recording a grade of more than 3000ppm TREO.

Lindian Resources has continued its impressive run of rare earth assay results at the company’s Kangankunde project in Malawi including a massive 300m hit at 2.31 per cent total rare earth oxides from surface. The explorer says all holes completed so far have started and ended in mineralisation with the 300m section including a whopping 124m intersection recording 2.53 per cent TREO from 176m to the end of the hole.

Everest Metals Corporation has paved the way for a new year battery metals hunt in WA’s Mid West region after announcing its intent to exercise an exclusive farm-in deal to earn a 51 per cent stake in the Mt Edon lithium, caesium and tantalum project. The deal follows a recent due diligence program that yielded encouraging RC drill results of up to 1220 parts per million lithium.

Estrella Resources has filled its coffers to the tune of more than $1 million after receiving a refundable tax offset for research and development expenditure at its Carr Boyd nickel project near Kalgoorlie. In November 2021 the company engaged three nickel experts from the CSIRO to initiate studies on the age, formation and characterisation of the Carr Boyd igneous complex as well as studying the formation and modes of mineralisation at T5, Broonhill, Tregurtha and Carr Boyd mine.

Coda Minerals has deployed cutting-edge technology at its Emmie Bluff iron oxide-copper-gold and copper-cobalt deposit as it aims to define thickness and structure of the mineralisation at the SA site. The company has commenced an Ambient Noise Tomography survey that is designed to use an advanced passive seismic technique to produce a detailed sub-surface velocity map to assist in the identification of IOCG mineralisation close to Emmie deposits.
