Legend Mining’s ongoing drill campaign at Mawson continues to paint a picture of a mineralised system growing in both scale and grade with the latest drill hole intersecting over 26m of nickeliferous sulphide in RKDD027. The visually spectacular drill core includes 15.45m of massive sulphides, across three zones of mineralisation, and a further three zones of 10.80m of semi-massive and matrix sulphide - the hunt continues across the Mawson discovery in WA’s Fraser Range.

ASX-listed explorer, Impact Minerals, has defied the weather gods and kept the drill rods turning at its Broken Hill platinum group metals project in western NSW. Wiluna Mining Corporation has given the green light on the expansion of processing operations at its world-class gold mine and is poised to increase production to more than 100,000 ounces of gold per annum. TNT Mines has released a string of high-grade uranium results from its East Canyon project in Utah. ASX-listed explorer, Victory Mines, has fired up the drill bit at its joint-ventured historic Coogee gold project about 55km south-east of Kalgoorlie as it looks to tease out high-grade extensions aiming to build on the resource left by its JV partner more than six years ago. That inferred and indicated resource estimate stands at 96,000 tonnes grading 3.4 grams per tonne for 10,600 ounces of contained gold.

Unlisted Barton Gold has confirmed the high-grade gold prospectivity of its Deliverance target below the historical Perseverance pit, with fresh ‘ounce-to-the-tonne’ drill results from its Tarcoola Phase 1 campaign. The best hit at its developing South Australian project was 3m going 33.7 g/t gold from 220m downhole, including 2m at a stellar 49.6 g/t gold.

Legend Mining is on a roll in the Fraser Range with recent exploration over its Rockford South tenure outlining a third electromagnetic, or “EM” target at the Hurley prospect. This is the fifth EM target the company has generated in its southern tenure, with the prospect area quickly shaping up as Legend’s newest nickel sulphide target.
