Tom Darbyshire

Thomas (Tom) Darbyshire has over 25 years of experience as a litigator and has appeared as counsel in all state & federal courts, with the exception of the High Court. He also has substantial experience in conducting recovery and insolvency actions in the Western Australian Supreme Court, and frequently advises on enforcement of securities and the director’s duties in an insolvency context

Prior to becoming a partner of Edwards Mac Scovell in December 2020, Mr Darbyshire was with Kott Gunning for 23 years where he was a partner, head of commercial dispute resolution, and managing partner.

Mr Darbyshire is a graduate of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia’s Advanced Law and Solvency course.
