Michael Barnes commenced work with SHAPE Australia in 1990, rising steadily from project manager to manager of the ACT State Office before becoming chief executive. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering and has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Mr Barnes is also a director of the Green Building Council of Australia.
