Melvin Tan has over 16 years of corporate leadership experience.
Prior to becoming the chief financial officer of Moboom & Locafy in May 2012, Mr Tan was a finance executive in public and private companies. He was also the Australasia financial controller of Gemcom Software International for over 7 years, was responsible for all regional financial and legal matters, and played a key role in its expansion throughout Asia. Prior to Gemcom, Mr Tan was a management accountant at Schlumberger and a business recovery accountant at RSM Bird Cameron.
He is a Fellow of Certified Practicing Accountant, Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, and holds Bachelor degrees in Law and Commerce.
