Malcolm Raedel spent over 30 years within the education sector and was involved in the founding and delivery of pathway programs in association with partner universities. He was a lecturer at the University of South Australia, former chief examiner in Economics for the Senior Secondary Assessment Board of South Australia, and author of numerous published articles. In 1989, Mr Raedel became a co-founder, director and principal of Eynesbury College, the first private senior secondary high school (Years 11 and 12) in South Australia to offer a mature-age university-style learning environment that focused only on the final two years of schooling, and the first college to include an English Language Centre. Mr Raedel also led the foundation of one of the first Australian English Language Centres in China, led the establishment of the Eynesbury Institute of Business and Technology and the South Australian Institute of Business and Technology, and was executive general manager of Australasia University Partnerships at Navitas with oversight of colleges in Sri Lanka, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
