Kerry Hill
Kerry Hill, a multi-award winning architect, is best known in Perth for his work on the State Theatre Centre of WA, City of Perth Library, and Como The Treasury Hotel. He was also well-known for his work in resort and hotel design particularly in South-East Asia, the Middle East, and in European countries including Croatia and Spain. Mr Hill won WA’s highest architectural gong, the George Temple Poole award, awarded in 2016 to two projects for the first time in its history, for his work on the City of Perth Library and Como The Treasury Hotel, with Palassis Architects the heritage architects on the State Buildings. Mr Hill graduated from the University of WA in 1968 and founded Kerry Hill Architects in 1979 which is based in Singapore and has an office in Perth. Mr Hill died in August 2018 after a short battle with cancer. Kerry Hill Architects is now run by Justin Hill (Singapore office) and Patrick Kosky (Perth office).
