Jane Hutchinson

During her time as a practicing lawyer, Jane Hutchinson was one of a handful of volunteers in 2001 who started the Tasmanian Land Conservancy which grew to become one of the largest private landholders in the State and a leading Australian private land conservation NGO. Ms Hutchinson was convenor and executive director of the Australian Land Conservation Alliance, and in 2016 was awarded the title of Tasmanian Of The Year for her work in nature conservation. She has a combined Bachelor of Science and Laws degree with Honours in Law, and a Certificate of Legal Practice from the University of Tasmania.
