Dr Geof Stapledon has over 20 years of experience in corporate governance, initially in investor advisory roles and then in the corporate sector.
Dr Stapledon joined the Melbourne Law School in 1995. He was previously a Professor of Law and a Professorial Fellow at Melbourne Law School. He has taught corporate law, competition law and corporate governance at the University of Melbourne and has published widely in the areas of corporate governance, institutional investment, and corporate law.
Dr Stapledon has degrees in Economics and Law from the University of Adelaide, and a doctorate from the University of Oxford.
