Gary Sollitt

Gary Sollitt has been a practicing engineer since graduating in 1998 from University. He became a chartered engineer in 2002 and progressed through a number of UK consultants prior to emigrating with his family to Australia in 2009 where he joined Wood & Grieve Engineers (WGE) in the Perth office as a senior engineer, progressing to project engineer in late 2010. Since joining WGE, he has been exposed to some challenging roles and projects involving heritage, educational residential, commercial projects ranging from condition surveys through to new build. He has further developed his skills, developing outline proposals structurally with the architect and client, buildability development of the project, and assistance in economies of the project due to budget constraints if applicable. In 2012, Mr Sollitt was promoted to a senior project engineer and principal.
