Gail Pemberton

Gail Pemberton AO has over 35 years of experience in banking and wealth management, and is a specialist in technology and operations.

Prior to a career as a company director, Ms Pemberton was the chief operating officer for UK at BNP Paribas Securities Services, and chief executive & managing director of BNP Paribas Securities Services in Australia and New Zealand. She was also the group CIO and financial services group COO at Macquarie Bank.

Her current board roles include chair of OneVue and Melbourne IT, non-executive director of PayPal Australia. She was chair of Onthehouse, and served on the boards of Alleron Funds Management, Air Services Australia, the Sydney Opera House Trust, Harvey World Travel, UXC and Queensland Investment Corporation.

In 2018, Ms Pemberton was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished services to the finance and banking industry, to business through a range of roles, as an advocate for technology, and as a mentor to women.
