Following six years in bookkeeping roles, Emma James completed her BCom in Accounting from Curtin University in 2011. She joined Southern Geoscience Consultants in 2012 as assistant accountant and moved into the role of financial accountant in April 2013 after successfully achieving her CPA. Ms James is responsible for all the day-to-day financial management activities of the company including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and contracts, as well as longer term financial strategies including budget projections and some legal issues. She is on the management team and advises the board and shareholders on all financial matters. Ms James is a Certified Practising Accountant.
