Dick Lester

In the 1980s WA property investment legend Dick Lester, in partnership with Greg Paramor, built what was to become Australia’s largest unlisted property trust business, Growth Equities Mutual, amassing more than $1.6 billion in funds under management and 110,000 investors nationwide before the market turned in the early 1990s. Mr Lester exited gracefully for a figure rumoured in the press at the time to be around $40 million, selling to Lend Lease in 1994.
He now chairs his family property investment business Lester Group.
