Denis Cullity
Denis Cullity was a prominent figure in WA business since the 1950s, with a particular interest in timber processing.
He was executive chair of listed company WESFI from 1971 to 1996, and chair from 1999 to 2001. He was founding chair of Wesbeam from 2001 to 2013, and was its major shareholder. Mr Cullity oversaw the development of five major softwood and ancillary manufacturing facilities in WA. He was also chair of Swan Television (1962-1984) and director of BankWest (1988-1995).
Mr Cullity was named EY Champion Entrepreneur in 2006.
He passed away in September 2022.
