Dawn Clements has more than 30 years of experience in the education sector. She obtained a Masters Degree from the University of Western Australia in Educational Management, and her thesis was centred on building an achievement culture.

Prior to becoming the principal of St Andrew's Grammar in 2021, Mrs Clements was the education senior advisor and consultant for change management at The Esther Foundation. She was previously the principal of Presbyterian Ladies' College in Melbourne and Lake Joondalup Baptist College in Perth. Mrs Clements was also the deputy head of curriculum and learning for 5 years at St Stephen’s School in Duncraig and also worked at the St Stephen’s Carramar campus for 2 years as the foundation head of English; taught at Santa Maria College and Willetton Senior High School; and was an examinations marker for the curriculum authority in Western Australia. In addition, she also served for 3 years as a school representative member of the Education and Training advisory group for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia.
