Dantu Charandasi
Dantu Charandasi is an Indian Foreign Service Officer, who was appointed Consult-General in Perth in 2019. She speaks Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil and has working knowledge of Punjabi and French.
Miss Charandasi has served as Director in the Latin America and Caribbean Division of the Ministry of External Affairs, as Under Secretary in the Multilateral Economic Relations Division of the Ministry of External Affairs and has participated in trade negotiations and multilateral grouping meetings viz IBSA, IOR-ARC, Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), BIMSTEC, ASEAN & East Asia Summit.
She has served as Consul, Head of Chancery and Information Officer at the Consulate General of India, Toronto from July 2010 to October 2013. While in Toronto Miss Dantu Charandasi also dealt with community, education and cultural affairs.
