Brett Waterman
Brett Waterman joined the insurance industry in 1981 and was an account executive for 3 international brokers, where he gained extensive experience handling the insurance programs of large corporate and international companies.
He started at Western United in 1992 as state manager for South Australia. He then transferred to Perth in 1996 and was appointed a director in June 1998. In March 2001, Mr Waterman purchased 51% controlling interest in the company.
In 2010, he won the Local Chambers Business Person of the Year award.
Mr Waterman served on the National Insurance Brokers Association Committee for 16 years, including 2 years as the president in WA.
He holds a Diploma in Financial Services (Broking), and is accredited as a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB).
