Brett Craig

Brett Craig joined Aura Funds as a director in March 2017 and is responsible for portfolio management and asset origination for the Aura High Yield SME Fund. Prior to joining Aura, over an 11-year period, Mr Craig held a number of roles at Macquarie Group including as vice president within the debt markets business where he focused on originating, structuring and distributing debt products primarily in the Australian market. He is renowned as the first portfolio manager to originate, structure, negotiate and execute an Australian Bank Debt facility for an AltFi lender. Prior to that, Mr Craig ran the financial management of the equity derivatives and loans book for the Metals and Energy Capital business. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Wollongong and is a Chartered Accountant.
