Bill Carr
Bill Carr has tertiary qualifications in geology and environmental science and over 30 years of experience in natural resource management in industry and government at a state and national level with a Western Australian focus. He has experience as an exploration geologist in the Pilbara, Murchison and Eastern Goldfields and later worked as an environmental scientist at Newman and Port Hedland. Mr Carr has considerable experience in the Western Australian Government including the Departments of Mines and Petroleum, State Development, and Environment and Conservation, involving native title negotiations, environmental impact assessment, project management, and development of the Burrup Rock Art monitoring program. For 2 years, he was director of the Conservation Commission, responsible for policy associated with Western Australia’s national parks and nature reserves.
