Bill Beerworth

Bill Beerworth was the executive director of HSBC Australia and managing director of its corporate finance subsidiary Partner of King & Wood Mallesons where he specialised in law; and assistant secretary of the Australian Attorney-General's Department in charge for securities policy.

He has been a company director and sits on advisory boards. Mr Beerworth has been chair of the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care, a member of the Financial System Inquiry (the Wallis Committee) on the restructure of the Australian financial system, and a member of the Australian Competition Tribunal.
