Alexander Silver

Mr Silver is based in the United States with over 20 years experience in principal investing across public and private markets. Mr Silver was most recently a Partner and member of the Investment Committee at P2 Capital Partners, a leading small-cap investment firm based in New York that also engages in private equity transactions, since founding in 2007. Mr Silver's career includes public and private market investing and advisory experiences, including Karsch Capital Management, Soros Private Equity Partners (the former private equity arm of Soros Fund Management), and M&A advisory at Lazard Freres.
Mr Silver has served on the JLG Advisory Board since its inception and has also served on the Boards of Blackhawk Network Holdings (including Audit and Compensation Committees), Achievers Inc. (including Audit and Compensation Committees), EB Research Partnership (a rare disease non-profit that Mr. Silver founded and Chaired for over 12 years), The Children's Board at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (National Institute of Health in the United States).
