Since 1998, NYFL has been the Traditional Owner representative organisation of the Woodside operated North West Shelf (NWS) Project, which includes the Karratha Gas Plant.
NYFL’s focus is:
• Maximising social and economic benefits for its members and the Roebourne community
• Delivering the WY employment and training program
• Implementing Social Impact and Investment initiatives
• Delivering positive commercial outcomes via NYFL's commercial arm, Garlbagu (also known as NYFL Commercial) (see https://garlbagu.org.au)
• Ensuring there is a legacy of prosperity for Roebourne
