John Laing
John Laing Group, headquartered in the UK, invests in sustainable greenfield infrastructure projects, and actively manage those projects through construction and into operation. It is focused on major transport, social and environmental infrastructure projects across a range of international markets including the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin and North America. The company has offices in Sydney and Melbourne, and a project office in Western Australia.
In April 2014, John Laing was part of the Westadium consortium (with Brookfield Financial) that invested in Optus Stadium.
In early 2020, John Laing was involved in the East Rockingham Recycling Resource Facility project in Western Australia (erwte.com.au). The project has been named Renewable Energy Waste-to-Energy Deal of the Year by The Asset magazine.
