In March 2015, Commodities Group, formerly CO2 Australia, became Seafarms Group.

It formerly operated as a carbon solutions company in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. It designed, developed, and managed greenhouse abatement projects; established carbon forests; and provided carbon trading solutions. The company offered carbon services for carbon forests, land management related greenhouse abatement projects, landfill, agricultural systems, rangelands, savannah management, biomass energy systems, and renewable energy projects; and environmental services.
