In survey #4/2006 released today, Nova 93.7 and 96fm came second and third with 12.2 per cent and 12 per cent respectively in the Monday to Sunday 5.30am to midnight category.
The survey revealed 96fm as the top station amongst the 25 - 39 age bracket for the 6 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday timeslot, while mix 94.5 received 20.4 per cent of audience share in its target demographic of the 25 to 54 age group. For all people 40 plus, the 6PR / 6IX combination received 23.3 per cent audience share, while 92.9 had the most under 40 female listeners in Perth.
In regards to breakfast radio, the survey revealed Botica's Bunch's breakfast show on mix 94.5 received an audience share of 15.2 per cent, while Millsy and Tony Mac on 6PR received a 12.2 per cent share of the market. Liam Bartlett in the Mornings on 6PR recorded an 11.6 per cent share.

Perth's mix94.5 has maintained its winning performance both overall and in the key
breakfast segment in today's Nielsen Media Research's survey four results.
mix94.5 had a 2.2 point drop overall but remained number one with a 15.3 per cent
audience share overall and 15.2 per cent audience share with Botica's Bunch's breakfast
show.
In its target demographic of the 25-54 age group, mix94.5 continues to dominate with
20.4 per cent of audience share.
Austereo Perth general manager Linda Wayman said: "mix94.5 is continuing to be the
number one choice for Perth listeners.
"Botica's Bunch at breakfast remains 3 percentage points clear of its nearest FM rival."

92.9 has the most under 40 female listeners in Perth, according to audience figures in today's Nielsen
radio ratings.
Austereo Perth general manager Linda Wayman said 92.9 had, in the past six months, improved its
audience share by an overall 2.2 percentage points.
"We've got a great new breakfast show in Em, Wippa and Ollie, and they've had consistently good
results in their first few months on air," she said.
"Today's figures show we've got 146,000 under 40 women tuning in at least once a week, the most of
any Perth station.
"It helps to demonstrate that our strategy is working."
