Millbrook Winery is on the hunt for a new functions coordinator following the departure of Juanita Towell.
The growing demand for the winery’s function centre has prompted a remodelling of the functions and events department, with new staff being recruited to accommodate coming bookings.
While Ms Towell is yet to be replaced, the team has already added former Lake Karrinyup Country Club chef Brad Richards to the staff, as well as some casuals to work the cellar door and tasting rooms.
With the wedding season just round the corner and bookings already confirmed at Millbrook, the new staff are a timely addition.

Leeuwin Estate owner Denis Horgan always likes to push the envelope.
His winery has achieved the highest ranking for any Australian wine, a 97, in previous editions of the prestigious US-based wine publication, Wine Spectator.
Well, this year they’ve gone one better.
The Leeuwin Estate 2001 Art Series Chardonnay recorded a 98-point rating, the highest score achieved for a white wine by any Australian winery.
Mr Horgan says he’s particularly proud that Leeuwin continues to be recognised internationally for producing wines that rank alongside some of the worlds finest.
Leeuwin Estate is currently exporting to 30 countries around the globe.
Watershed Premium Wines has built a conference facility at its headquarters in Margaret River.
The facility, located beneath the restaurant and cafe, will cater for up to 150 people and is equipped with a projector, DVD/VCR players, a laptop, and a whiteboard.
Watershed managing director Geoff Barrett says that, to date, conference facilities within the Margaret River region are limited.
“The introduction of this facility is an opportunity for the Margaret River region to tap into the meetings industry, and conference related tourism.”
