AFTER 34 years of exclusively retail operations from its famous pastry houses, Miss Maud is to release a wholesale range of ready-to-bake pastries.
Caterers will have access to an expanded range of Miss Maud pastry range, some of which are yet to be sold in the stores.
“We aim for constant superior products and this new range is made up of delicious quality ingredients,” Miss Maud founder Maud Edmiston said.
“In regards to competition, we stand very much alone in quality terms, in the restaurant and now the wholesale market.
“We have maintained a high standard, unique to any other wholesaler, and intend to develop and improve upon this constantly.”
Among the many products in the ready-to-bake range are the party ratatouille tartlet, potato bacon and leek roll, english spinach pastie, and two different gourmet party selection packs.
Each pastry is precisely portion-controlled and can be freezer-stored for up to 12 months.
For added inventory convenience, each of the 128 cartons per pallet is bar-coded
The entire Miss Maud range is available through major frozen food distributors nationally, including Coastal Distributing & Provedoring, FAL/Foodlink, Goldline Distributors, Grande Foods, Kailis Brothers, Perry’s Merchants, Sealanes and South West Distributors.
