LOCAL e-learning specialist Westinfo Services has won an
award for the second year running at the Thomson NETg annual Channel Partner
Conference in Cannes, France.
Westinfo Services was this year awarded the ‘outstanding
customer care award’.
Last year the company won the ‘best marketing programme for
learning award’.
Westinfo Services managing director Jim Ellis said winning
one of the three Illuminati Awards, as they are known, represented a major coup
for the company, particularly since 2004 was just the second year the awards
had been held.
Mr Ellis said the company had developed a customer care
implementation program over the past three years, which it delivered to its
clients free of charge.
He said Westinfo’s recognition that all client
implementation and support programs were different had contributed to the win.
“We understand that the business needs and drivers of the
business will vary between organisations, as do cultural, geographic and
operational factors,” Mr Ellis said.
“We strategise the planning of the NETg rollout across the
business and ensure and that critical success factors are addressed with buy-in
from all levels of the organisation.”
Out of the 50 international Channel Partners represented,
only two Australian firms were in attendance, the Subicao-based Westinfo
Services and a Queensland-based company.
