Wellard appoints Wade COO

Wellard has appointed Brendan Wade chief operating officer.

Mr Wade left Landmark last year, after serving as its livestock manager in Queensland and northern New South Wales.

He has also previously held positions as a director of AuctionPlus and Landmark Real Estate.

Mr Wade’s involvement in the cattle industry began more than three decades ago with the establishment of his stock agency, Watkins & Co in Roma, Queensland.

He also served as national president and Queensland chair of the Australian Livestock & Property Agents Association.

Previous chief operating officer Scot Braithwaite has moved into the role of chief business development officer.
