Former Churchill Capital managing director Patrick O'Connor will chair the Water Corporation, with former Clough chief executive Brian Hewitt as his deputy, Water Resources Minister John Kobelke announced today.
They replace Tim Ungar and Tracey Horton, who will leave the board to pursue other business interests.

Water Resources Minister John Kobelke today announced Patrick O'Connor had been appointment as chairman of the Water Corporation.
Mr O'Connor has a background in capital investment, mining and biotechnology companies. He is the managing director of St George Capital Pty Ltd.
Mr O'Connor has been a board member for the past four years and replaces Tim Ungar.
Brian Hewitt, former Clough chief executive officer, has been appointed deputy chair of the board. He replaces Tracey Horton, who is Dean of the University of WA Business School.
Both Mr Ungar and Ms Horton have left to pursue other business interests.
Mr Kobelke thanked Mr Ungar and Ms Horton for their work, saying they had served the board well.
"Mr Ungar has served on the Water Corporation board since 2001 and as an independent and capable chairman for the past four years," he said.
"Ms Horton brought her valuable professional business management expertise to the board."
