WAFIC CEO appointed to lead FRDC

Western Australian Fishing Industry Council (WAFIC) Chief Executive Officer John Harrison has been appointed as a director at Federal Government’s Fisheries Research Development Corporation (FRDC). Dr Renata Brooks, Professor Colin Buxton, Dr Lesley MacLeod, Professor Daryl McPhee, and John Susman are among the five other appointed to the board of FRDC. Mr Harrison's professional background in the recreational and commercial fishing sectors spans more than 20 years.
