Fremantle-based workplace health and safety (WHS) company, Epigroup, has welcomed Vince Santostefano and Myles Ertzen as non-executive board members.
Santostefano is a qualified civil engineer and has 40 years of executive experience in the resources sector. He has held senior operations roles at Esso Australia and Beach Energy, and has run his own consultancy. He was COO at Woodside until 2014, and later at Santos from 2016 to 2020.

Ertzen is the director of Australia’s leading mining forum, Diggers and Dealers, and a non- executive director of gold developer Capricorn Metals Limited. He graduated from the Western Australian School of Mines in 1995 and brings significant mining, operation and corporate experience to Epigroup.

Santostefano and Ertzen’s combined knowledge of the industry makes them valuable assets for Epigroup. Epigroup has been providing WHS consulting, labour hire and training solutions to organisations in the mining, construction, utilities, transport and healthcare sectors for over eight years. The company’s extensive list of clients includes Woodside, South32, ENGIE, Perth Airport, Baker Hughes, Queensland Airport, Santos and Alcoa.
Co-founded by Jake Cole and James Teakle, Epigroup has tripled its number of employees in the last 12 months thanks to its growing reputation, progressive WHS methods, and innovative use of technology including virtual reality and motion capture suits. With additional expertise at the helm, the company is showing no signs of slowing down.
