The overall 13 per cent rise in weekly sales is attributed to a 31 per cent increase in sales for houses and an 11 per cent increase in unit sales, despite a 37 per cent decrease in vacant land sales over the week.
Total properties listed for sale remained stable over the week at 14,687. Listings for houses remained stable, while unit and vacant land listings both increased by 1 per cent. The total number of listings recorded this week is 1 per cent lower in comparison to four weeks ago, and is also 1 per cent lower than the same time last year.
Turning to the rental market, Reiwa members reported total properties available for rent remained stable over the week at 10,752.
This is similar to levels seen four weeks ago and also similar to the same time last year.
